Historic Mother Bethel AME Church To Hold A Prayer Vigil Protesting Neighbor's New Building Design

Mother Bethel sits on the oldest parcel of land continuously owned by African Americans, and is a National Historic Landmark. The church calls the new building design 'too modern for the neighborhood' and an 'eyesore outside it's front doorstep.'
